League format and points
Each of the nine clubs plays the other eight twice, home and away. That makes 16 league games per club across 18 rounds, with two bye weekends each. A victory earns four points, a draw two, and additional bonus points are available for scoring at least four tries or losing by seven points or fewer.
The top four teams qualify for the knockout semi-finals: first plays fourth and second plays third. The two winners advance to the JAECOO PWR Final. The league has a break for the Women’s Six Nations after Round 16 and returns for Round 17 in late May.

The Next Gen Cup is separate
The JAECOO Next Gen Cup is the pre-season tournament, running from September to the final on 7–8 November 2026. Its pool matches and results do not count towards the JAECOO PWR league standings or its 72 league fixtures.
