Who operates this site
RugbyOrbit is an independent rugby information website at rugbyorbit.com. The publisher operating identity and dedicated public data-protection address require final confirmation. In the meantime, submit privacy enquiries through the Contact page.
Information we process
When you visit, the web server and security infrastructure may process IP address, device/browser details, requested URLs and timestamps in technical logs. If you use the contact form, we process the name, email, subject and message you choose to submit. We do not ask for sensitive personal data through this form.
Google services and analytics
The site uses WordPress and has Google Site Kit installed. Site Kit can connect Search Console and, where enabled, Google Analytics and other Google products. Search Console primarily provides aggregated search-performance information; an enabled Analytics tag may collect page visits and device or browser data and use cookies or similar technologies. The precise enabled tags and retention settings must be checked before advertising is activated.
Advertising and third parties
RugbyOrbit is preparing for possible Google AdSense advertising. If Google ads are enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses and similar technologies to provide, measure and, with the relevant consent, personalise advertising. Third parties may place and read cookies or use web beacons or IP addresses. See Google’s explanation of its data use at Google partner sites. Ads and tracking requiring consent must not be enabled until appropriate consent controls are operational.
Why we process information
We use technical data to deliver the website, maintain security, diagnose errors and measure performance where configured. We use messages to respond to enquiries. Depending on the processing activity and applicable law, a lawful basis may be legitimate interests, legal obligations, contract-related communications or consent (for optional tracking and personalised advertising).
Sharing and retention
Information may be processed by our web-hosting providers, email systems, Google services configured on the site and other providers necessary to operate the service. Retention varies by service and should be confirmed in hosting, mail and analytics settings. We do not claim a fixed period without verifying those settings.
Your rights and controls
Where the GDPR or similar law applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and to withdraw consent at any time. Contact us via our Contact page. You may also lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority. Your browser allows management of some cookies; a certified consent-management mechanism must be configured before eligible Google advertising launches.
Children, links and changes
The site is intended for a general rugby audience, not to collect personal information from children. Please avoid submitting information about minors through our contact form. External websites have their own privacy practices. We will revise this notice as providers, processing or advertising settings change.
