Playoffs and relegation
How the 2026/27 title will be decided: four semifinalists and one team relegated after the regular season.
Ten clubs meet home and away from 17 October 2026 to 1 May 2027. Each club plays 18 matches.
First plays fourth and second plays third. First legs: 15–16 May 2027; return legs: 22–23 May, hosted by the higher-ranked teams.
The semifinal winners meet on 2 June 2027 (venue to be confirmed). The 10th-placed team after the regular season is relegated to Serie A Maschile for 2027/28.

2026/27 Serie A Elite season notes
Original context for Italy’s domestic top division, which is separate from the multinational URC played by Benetton and Zebre.
Valorugby Emilia start as defending champions after a first-ever Scudetto in June 2026, a 27–5 win over Petrarca. Their opening trip to Fiamme Oro in Rome on 17 October is an early test.
Rugby Parabiago 1948 join Italy’s top division in 2026/27. Their first scheduled fixture is away to Sitav Rugby Lyons in Piacenza, an important benchmark for the promoted side.
Petrarca host Rovigo in Round 3 on 15 November, renewing the Derby d’Italia. Valorugby host Petrarca in Round 6 on 12 December, repeating the 2026 Scudetto final pairing.

The 2026/27 schedule comes from the Italian Rugby Federation (FIR). Some matches receive later individual kick-off dates or times; those announcements take precedence over the original round date.
How can I see every match for one club?

Are results and standings updated live?
No. RugbyOrbit does not currently provide a live results feed for this competition. Scores and league standings are entered only after reliable results are checked. Before kick-off, clubs appear alphabetically rather than in a fabricated ranking.
Where can I watch Serie A Elite?
FIR has announced Rai Sport coverage of one league fixture per round, plus both legs of the semifinals and the final. Broadcast times and platforms should be checked against the latest FIR or Rai schedule.
Which kick-off times have been confirmed?
The announced televised fixtures include Fiamme Oro–Valorugby on 17 October at 15:30, Biella–Petrarca on 25 October at 15:30, and Petrarca–Rovigo on 15 November at 14:15 (Italy local time). Other individual times are subject to change.
How do promotion and relegation work?
The top four qualify for two-leg Scudetto semifinals. The bottom club after 18 regular-season rounds is relegated to Serie A Maschile for 2027/28.
